Our contribution to the educational network in the Rhineland

The BMBF-funded Network Office for Education in the Rhineland Region (NBR) has been focusing on structural change from an educational perspective since 2020. To this end, it initiates, supports, and further develops policy discourses on topics as diverse as securing skilled workers, training, continuing education, career guidance, education for sustainable development, and democratic education, providing input from quantitative and qualitative educational analyses. In close cooperation with regional stakeholders and a wide range of educational governance actors, relevant research questions are formulated, networks are formed and/or supported, analyses are conducted, and these are translated into practice in the form of model projects.

Actively involved in the following education/professional networks

Education professional networks are collaborations between individual actors, organizations, and institutes that work together to improve the quality of education and share educational resources. They promote the exchange of knowledge and the professionalization of stakeholders. Key criteria are cross-regional networking and diversity, with different institutions working toward a common goal. Examples of education networks include the North Rhine-Westphalia School-Business Network, the NRW Regional Education Networks, ZDI.NRW / ZDI Network Rhein-Kreis Neuss, and the Middle Lower Rhine Continuing Education Association.
